Well, our temp index page is finally up on our website while we are under construction. 

The new team is much better than the old team we had before.

Hoping to have the new and improved website up and running by the end of October the latest.

What's Happening.....

I can't believe that it has been so long since we have posted here on our blog. I keep saying I am going to do a post and than something else catches my attention. Lots is happening here at Jodi's Gifts. We have been posting a lot of photos to Facebook and Pinterest. We have been working on more YouTube videos. We have been setting up Google+. 

We have been interviewing people to help re-create our website. Our website has been down for way too long. We have been working on it but we need more help. We want it to be an easy website for our customers to use. I won't make a target date for his completion since I don't know when that will be. 

We want to say to our customers thank our for being so patient. The website will get completed and when it does we hope you love it!

What is your favorite gift you have ever gotten?

I was asked today by a customer what was my favorite gift that I have ever gotten. I actually said I have gotten some great presents in my life but I could not specifically pick just one gift.


I asked her what her gift was and she told me that it was a personalized hand mirror that she got when she was 12 years old. She thought the hand mirror was so cool. It was painted with her face on one side and her name on the other side of the mirror. She says that she is 28 years old and still uses it to this day.


I was trying to find out why she was asking this and before I asked this question I figured out what she was trying to ask me without coming out asking me the question. 


She wanted to know what she could buy for a dear friend of hers that she would always remember. She was telling me that her dear friend just got fired from her job and her boyfriend of 8 years just dumped her and her land lord told her that they were not going to renew her lease. 


I actually could not answer this question without trying to figure what in all of my stock that I carry would "fit" this situation.


She ended up ordering from me a phone case personalizing it with a quote. I thought that was so sweet of her. She just wanted her friend to know that she is a great person and that she will come out of all this a stronger person. 


I would have never thought that a phone case would have been the item I would have picked but for this woman I think this will be an item she will always remember and will think of her friend always.


I am so touched by this customer and her feelings for her friend. This customer is new to Jodi's Gifts and we are thrilled to have her as a customer.
